Halle Berry welcomed a newborn baby girl of 7lbs and 4oz, yesterday at around 10am.
Throughout her pregnancy, Berry’s model beau has been a, well, model beau – massaging her feet and satisfying her cravings. As she told Oprah Winfrey in October, “I know he has ability to love me, love our children, and he will do that.”
Halle originally arrived at the hospital early Saturday morning because she felt she was going into labor. After a bit of a scare with escalating blood pressure, the doctors sent the actress, who is diabetic, home after getting her blood pressure regulated. She came back to the hospital at 11:00pm, after feeling the contractions more intensely.
“Halle was overcome with emotion when she finally held her little girl. She said everything she had gone through was worth that moment. The tears kept coming as Halle didn’t even want the nurses to take her baby to clean her up and measure. It was a truly beautiful scene.”
