* HAPPY HALLOWEEN Ladies! And, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to me. This is officially my 13th-yr as a New Yorker! Not to discourage the mood of Halloween, but I’ve exempted myself from the festivities. I do love a good piece of Snickers, Butterfingers, or Reeses, though. OMG! Let me not forget a bag of Original M&M’s! I’ll def be picking up a stash later! And, a Blizzard ice-cream from Dairy Queen! I’m getting too excited. Let me calm myself.

From NYC to LA, Mariah to Kim Kardashian, to Heatherette + Lydia Hearst, a lot of stars have chosen to throw Halloween bashes. Mariah & Nick’s Milk+Cookies costume was so cute, and Kim’s Wonder Woman get-up was totally made for her. She looks just like Wonder Woman!

*** I know a lot of you are going out tonight, whether it’s to a costume party, or trick-or-treating — BE CAREFUL! There are a lot of crazy ppl out tonight. Especially to my ladies in NYC: there have been reports all week long of females, especially school girls getting slashed in the face with razors!! Apparently the gangs of the Bloods + Crypts are innitiating new people, and they’re basically running a muck! So, BE VERRRRY CAREFUL!!

bey for hod cadi recs at bloomingdales by you.

Just yesterday, Beyoncé visited NYC’s Bloomingdales on 59th Street, to promote her new House of Deréon line, inspired by her upcoming movie “Cadillac Records”. And, I can’t believe I missed it! Bey is on my “list” of ppl to meet! I’m assuming the dress she has on is of the same line – she claims she’s going for a more classical look, this go-round. Cute. Her fans were able to purchase pieces from the HOD line, and with that, came an autograph.

Also, if you check out her nails — they’re a metallic design by Minx Nails. Bey, along with numerous celeb fashionistas such as Angela + Vanessa Simmons, Solange, Mariah Carey, and Eve are fans of these nail designs, that come in metallics, polka dots, patriotic themes, and tons of other cute styles. The polish on her toes are of a different color, but still a perfect seasonal choice. And, with that said — I’ll be posting a spread on the latest and hottest fall-inspired nail colors, so keep a look out for it.

Both T.I. + Christina Aguilera’s latest music videos debuted just yesterday. I especially couldn’t wait to see “Live Your Life”. Rihanna didn’t do much in the video, which is good because we wouldn’t want to see her [attempt to] over-shadow T.I. It is, afterall, his song. And, boy did he look good in the video! Kind’a reminds me of “Rashaad”. LOL. That was a reference to his role in the move ATL [If you didn't get it].

Christina’s wasn’t bad. After seeing those photos from the video shoot, it’s actually better than I thought it would be.

According to media sources over in New Zealand, Rihanna and Chris Brown gave their “sold out” audience a show-stopping performance! Clad in her usual leather dominatrix outfits, and Chris in his armored vest, they performed hits like “Umbrella”, “Wall to Wall”, “Gimme That”, “Disturbia”, and her most current hit “Rehab”. [And no. That's not her skin showing. It's a nude-colored bodysuit.]

Of Chris Brown:

First to take the stage was Brown, who descended from the rafters singing his hit Wall to Wall, to ear-piercing screams from the largely female audience.

“Where are my single ladies at?” he queried following a rendition of Gimme That, before asking the screaming girls to yell out their phone numbers so he could call them.

Brown’s dance moves are some of the slickest Vector’s stage has seen since Justin Timberlake played there last year.

Of Rihanna:

Starting her set from a platform high above the stage, she wowed the crowd with a rendition of Disturbia. As the platform sank lower, her outfit - a dominatrix-style print leotard with thigh-high boots - caught the attention more than her singing.

Rihanna’s half of the concert relied more on multimedia theatrics than Brown’s had, but her voice also came across more strongly - perhaps because she was relying less on dance moves to impress the crowd.

But the crowning moment was when Brown and Rihanna took to the stage together for a performance of the latter’s 2007 smash hit Umbrella.

kim k's 28th by you.

Kim made sure all eyes were on her as she celebrated her 28th bday in Las Vegas. She wore a flowing emerald green Pamella Roland gown, with her signature dark tresses. On the guest list were, of course: Reggie Bush, her sisters Kourtney + Khloe, a few Hollywood socialites, and Robin Antin (PCD founder).

The event took place on Friday, October 24th, but Kim’s bday was actually on Tuesday, the 21st. She unfortunately spent her bday in the hospital, with her NFL playing hubby, Reggie Bush. Kim expressed, via her blog, that Reggie was recovering from surgery after injuring his knee.

“I was supposed to be in London right now with Reggie but we had to cancel our trip,” she writes on her blog. “In [Sunday's] game against the [North] Carolina Panthers, Reggie injured his left knee and needed surgery.”

Though she says the New Orleans Saints running back was “pretty bummed,” she, on the other hand, remains positive: “As long as he is okay, I will have the best birthday ever!!!!”

“When I saw him limp off the field,” she says, “my heart dropped!” But, ” He is recovering great and will be back on the field soon!”
