Golden Globes Trends: Gold

Another red carpet trend tonight at the Golden Globes were golden gowns. Looking amazing in her strapless Roberto Cavalli gown, was Christina Applegate. She wore a lovely Lorraine Schwartz statement necklace as a completion to her look. Jennifer Lopez, who opened the award show as the first presenter, was the fiercest thing on the red carpet tonight — which is why she’s also one of my best dressed picks. She wore a shimmery gold halter gown, with sweeping front detailing from the Marchesa Spring 2009 collection. Another big winner tonight was actress new-comer, Freida Pinto. She’s so cute — but not in that gown!
