“I would describe my personal style as I just basically want to be Barbie! I’m super girly and I like looks that are trendy, polished, and flirty. Sometimes people’s styles can convey “I’m too cool for this,” but I’m always trying to look approachable. I want every outfit I wear to encourage people to get to know me.” -Lauren
*CELEB STYLE INSPIRATION*
I absolutely love Mischa Barton. I think she dresses fabulously.
*FAVE DESIGNER*
Max Azria. He’s always been a designer for the girly girls and I love how he’s showing a sexier side with Hérve Léger.
*FAVE BRAND*
I could never commit myself to wearing only one brand, but for a favorite I would have to say Guess. It’s a surprising choice to some, but I really like their jeans and outerwear, especially their Marciano line.
*FAVE STORE*
Hudson Belk. Every Belk is different, but in my hometown Belk carries designers and brands such as MaxMara, Theory, and BCBG. The sales are fantastic and sometimes I’m able to purchase designer pieces at very low prices.
*MOST STYLISH SONG*
I know it’s predictable, but I have to say “Supermodel” by Jill Sobule from the Clueless soundtrack! I love that song.
*MUST-HAVE BEAUTY ITEM*
Can I pick two? — Bobbi Brown Oil Free Even Finish Foundation and Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner.
*MUST-HAVE FASHION ITEM*
A great pair of ankle boots — or two, or three! I own a few pairs by Marc by Marc Jacobs, Gianni Bini, and Nine West.
*AMOUNT OF TIME IT TAKES TO GET READY*
Sadly, when I wake up it takes me an hour and a half to get ready! It’s terrible. But if I’m already up and changing to go out, about 30 minutes.
