Paris Haute Couture A/W 2010: Jean Paul Gaultier

Jean Paul Gaultier’s couture collection is aggressively feminine. He always brings glamour with an edge. His models looked like Old Hollywood starlets and Goddesses, dressed to kill. The leather, furs, and corsets of armour are fierce combinations that set off the dramatic beauty of the collection. My favorite piece would have to be the black leather jacket with an A-line bottom and snake skin knee-high boots. Overall, Gaultier’s concept of Old Hollywood with a couture flare was interesting and successful.
