Paris Haute Couture A/W 2010: Givenchy

Givenchy’s couture collection has a mythical appeal to it. Each piece in the collection reminds me of  the costumes worn in epic movies, but they are wearable for the real world. I love the black on black ensembles Riccardo Tisci created and the amazing gold headdres — it’s breath taking, I loved it!  This collection really set the bar high because of it’s uniqueness and level of creativity. Tisci is truly a designer who understands that clothing is more than just pieces of fabric sewn together. The wonderful outcome of Tisci work reveals his vast imagination.
