I’ll start from yesterday. You may have heard/seen the video to the song ‘You’re A Jerk’ by the New Boyz. I love that song. It’s on my playlist in my MP3 player and everything. So, while browsing YouTube yesterday, I noticed they had a new video out. Aside from the fact that colorful videos always capture my full attention, I love it. It’s called ‘Tie Me Down’ ft. Ray-J. A much different song from their first single.
I noticed these girls, The Bangz, made a cameo in their video, and thought what a cool name! I had to check them out. After listening to their single ‘Jerkin’ aka I Only Date Boys With Tattoos (produced by J Holiday, Jordin Sparks, and Fantasia), I was hooked! While researching the duo, I noticed some pretty odd tweets from their Twitter page, until I really found out what was going on.
One of the group’s members had been shot!
How shocking that I just found these girls, and one (Ella Ann, 20, pictured right) had been shot?! Based on the tweets coming from the group’s singer, Sabi (21, left), she confirmed that yes, Ella had been shot [in the neck]. She is doing well, but after undergoing 3 surgeries for the 2 gunshot wounds to her neck, she is still in a coma!
Crazy stuff. The full story is in the second video, below. I wish Ella the best, and hope she fully recovers!

On another note this song is teen friendly, misogynist bullcrap, and I question the taste of anybody who deems it “hot”. I mean really “Skeet.tv”?

LOL. It’s actually called Skee TV, because the DJ who runs it’s name is DJ Skee. The song is all a part of the “Jerk” movement, so if that’s not your style of music or dance then that’s fine. But like anyone else, you’re entitled to your own opinion.
