Video: Beyoncé – Video Phone (feat. Lady Gaga)
And, it’s finally here! Video Phone is one of my fave songs off Beyonce’s I Am… album. Though it was produced in front of a green screen like some of her recent video’s, I like this one. It’s a little different, and colorful! The song features Best New Artist Of The Year, Lady Gaga. A very good team, I think. This duo is honestly 2009’s hardest working female artists. So proud of both of them. The video was directed by music video veteran, Hype Williams. Check for stills after the jump.
I love Beyoncé in this black monokini. She kind’a looked like Rihanna, with the blonde hair in her face. Is it just me? LOL. I mean, yeah Beyoncé had the blonde hair first. Blah blah blah! I know!
Cool video. The gun props were awesome. Everything else was sexy and hot. Beyonce’s outfits looked amazing. Nothing really extraordinary, though. But I liked that touch w/ men w/ camera heads! And she was sort of channeling Rihanna with w/ side bang and swept back hair and channeling Naomi Campbell w/ the short bangs and wavy hair hairdo. Lady Gaga was great. But I don’t really see her as a Beyonce sex-bomb sidekick? She has more of a dark personality and somewhere in the video, I kept expecting her to do something crazy like bite the head off bat.
I thought the video was cool but anti-climatic..moving on have you seen Leighton Meester’s new video with Robin Thicke?
The song is *meh*..but she BROUGHT it with the fits!
Um….was i the only one who was disappointed with this video? Dont get me wrong, I love Beyonce, I’ve been to every concert and have all her albums…but this video seemed very forced and over-the-top, even for Beyonce. It seems as if she’s getting raunchier, more vulgar and just plain ghetto! Me no likey…her make-up was flawless and the costumes were…meh…seen the leotard one too many times before.
Plus, I was hoping for some really epic dance sequence but was sorely disappointed. It really seemed to me that she was trying too hard to be sexy and really came across quite trashy and video-ho-ish…
Bey babe, you’re married now! Can we get some clothes, a concept and song with substance a la “Dangerously in Love”? *sighs*
I mean I totally understand that this is Sasha Fierce…but I really expected something more than what was put together in this video. To me, Gaga seemed so out of place and Beyonce looks like she is doing way too much… Crazy thing is I dont know what I was expecting but this did not meet it… even after watching it a couple of times.. its not sticking to me… please Beyonce, do something with more substance…

I Love This Video But Shes Gone Way To Far She Is Not The Same She Use To Be And I DOnt Like It She Looks Trahy But Dont Get Me Wrong I Love Her But Lady Gaga Should Of Been Thur Most Of The Video Too Not Just Her Idc If It Was Her Video Or Not Lady gaga Should Of Been More In It Beyonce is nothing but a copy of rhianna with i do not like bc rhinna looks good like that but not beyonce sorry to say i love her tho
