52nd Grammys: Best Dressed – Beyoncé
I of course had to dub Mrs. Beyonce Knowles-Carter as yesterday evening’s best dressed at the GRAMMY Awards. She arrived in a lovely nude Stephane Rolland gown paired with Casadei heels and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
She later changed into a FABULOUS leather Atelier Versace Fall 2009 mini-dress. The structured detail was very tough and fierce, as she performed ‘If I Were A Boy’ and ‘You Oughta Know’. Embellished Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toe ankle booties completed that look.
After her performance, the diva then changed into a heavily embellished Armani Privé chain metal silver and gold mini-dress encrusted with Swarovski crystals and gold Ruthie Davis sandals. The outfit was very BLING, but I still love how she played it up with more jewelry blingage. Her earrings are the BUSINESS!
Bey also set a new record last night as the only female to win 6 GRAMMYS in one night. She was nominated in 10 categories, and took home 6! I think that means she was the best OVERALL, all night!
Ok Beyonce….. She kilt the game with her wardobe at the awards. POW!!!! I must give props where props are due and I must say that Beyonce did do the dang thang with her outfits. She really stepped up and stepped out. And I loved it. I must say that i was suprised (well not really with the way the economy is now) to see her in a dress that Rhianna had rocked in a photo spread. I mean Bey normally sets the platform for fashion and yet she followed the steps of another artist. And if she didnt know Rhi had rocked it already then her stylist needs to be fired. Yeah I said it. I mean Rhi’s photo was all on the net and a true stylist would have caught that. But anywho that was a great pick for as best dressed.
She looked nice but DEFINITELY NOT the best dressed.
