A Very Small Set of Requests for Using the Fashionista101 Social Network

To All Members,

I’m very excited that you all are interested in joining the F101 Social Network. I spend a lot of time trying to make Fashionista101 as user-friendly and entertaining as possible, so I basically have no “personal time” – this is my life and leisure. I love you all and hope that you continue to enjoy all the fashion, trend, style, and celeb news that I bring to you.

However, before you complete your registration as a member of F101, I’d appreciate if you read and take the following rules and requests into serious consideration.

Spam
Please don’t spam. Spam is annoying. Spam is aggravating. Spam is spam. — What is spam? Spam is posting the same message repeatedly across the network. Spam is writing the same post or comment over and over again. Spam is sending the same message to multiple members. You get the picture.

I take a hard line view on spam and, unfortunately, if you are reported or deemed to be a spammer, I’ll have to ban you here on the Fashionista101 Social Network.

Advertising and Promotion
I’ll definitely try to be as lenient as possible with this. The Fashionista101 Social Network is a feature of Fashionista101.com that is dedicated completely to the following: fashion, trends, beauty, style, models, celebs, and entertainment news.

So, if you have something you’re selling, that’s directly related to any of those things, then by all means – advertise away. BUT, don’t forget the ‘spam’ rules! Also, I encourage all models, actresses, young entrepreneurs, and aspiring fashionistas to get your names out there.

That was the good news. Here’s the bad: I need to use my judgment here and I will delete content and ban members from the F101 Social Network who are just here to spread the news about the latest way to make money or are looking for donations as a way to make a living, and basically any unnecessary mumbo-jumbo.

Insults and Harassment
Respectfully disagreeing with someone – including me – in a constructive, well-reasoned manner is not only welcomed, but encouraged here. F101 can’t get better if I don’t hear thoughtful, constructive feedback from you about the way things are run. I’d love to hear any and everything.

On the other hand, if you’re here to find an outlet for your anger, frustration, or desire to call me or anyone IDIOTS IN ALL CAPS over and over again, this isn’t the right place. Drop me a note in the F101 Social Network ‘Complaints + Suggestions’ Discussion Board to get whatever it is off your chest. I do read every email that comes in and will get the message loud and clear when you are unhappy

I take threatening, unconstructive, toxic, profane, or generally abusive people very seriously and will ban fast and furiously when I see them. Even if you have a right to be angry or frustrated, yelling at me or other members here isn’t helpful and won’t get you what you want. Just like in the real world.

If You’ve Been Banned by Me
If you can’t abide by these few simple requests here on the Fashionista101 Social Network, I totally understand, but it won’t fly with me. I hate having to ban people, so if you don’t think that this is going to work for you upfront, it’s much better for all of us to know it now.
