If you’re not watching the VMAs now, it’s time to tune in. It starts at 9pm (Eastern), but the pre-show is pretty exciting already. Twilight star and fashionista, Ashley Greene, is tonight’s red carpet fashion correspondent. When asked by her co-host on what is the perfect VMA outfit, Ash replied, “something edgy, eye-catching, short, and metallic.”

She poses in the above pic wearing an Erin Fetherston black taffeta top and gold mini skirt. She actually changed into a two-tone dress/black top and wine skirt combo, which I prefered…

I always miss the Teen Choice Awards! Not that I would ever want to watch it, but I never know it’s coming on. Where do they advertise these things?! Anyways, thanks to the ‘net, we can cut to the chase and see who wore what.

Starting off the best dressed list of the week/at this event is Leighton Meester. She wore a striped Louis Vuitton Resort 2010 dress and a sexy pair of candy apple red Brian Atwood platform pumps. It took me a while to get used to Fergie’s dark locks, but since she’s added a few highlights, I’m loving it. She arrived at the California-based event wearing a sleeveless LBD adorned with multi-colored sequins. I’m not so crazy about the heels, but the look I definitely love. JoJo has always been one of my fave young celebs. She’s very talented, and always dresses tasteful. Her créme studded dress which featured a peek-a-boo midriff was complimented with a classic pair of Christian Louboutin peep toe pumps.

Anna Faris Hosts The Malibu® And Reef Check Partnership Event

Anna Faris has really stepped her game up this year. She hosted a Malibu® partnership event on Tuesday night in Beverly Hills, wearing some pretty fierce patent leather heels, and a sleeveless dress with black side panel detail and tulip-style skirt. However, I don’t think her blonde locks fits the look. If she were a brunette, I would dig it more.

Vanessa Simmons’ 26th Birthday Party

Photogs caught up with sisters Angela & Vanessa Simmons, before the pair made their way into Su Casa bar & lounge in NYC. The birthday girl, Vanessa (right), wore a cute strapless jumpsuit, gold accessories, and sky blue peep-toe Christian Dior Resort 2009 Cha Cha sandals, similar to the one Beyonce wore to this year’s BET Awards. Younger sis, Angela, wore a cute off-white Hervé Léger banded dress and silver glitter pumps.

I guess you can call me lazy, but I don’t care. I’d love to be more consistent with my “Look of the Week” posts, but when these celebs aren’t on their A games, what should I do? — post rubbish? — I think not! So, I’ve decided that if I can’t think of 8-10 well-dressed ladies of the week, I’ll just post about 4. It’s still something!

+ Ashley Greene - The Twilight star is def one to watch, as she always seems to get it right on the red carpet. Attending a special screening of Julie & Julia (so going to see this!) in Westwood, CA, Ashley looks fab in her créme Brian Reyes dress and Jimmy Choo sandals.

Everyone arrived looking fab at last night’s LA movie premiere of the new thriller, ‘Push’, starring Chris Evans, Dakota Fanning, Camilla Belle, and Djimon Hounsou (Kimora’s fiancée and soon-to-be baby’s father — check out the baby bump!). As usual, Rumer Willis, always looks a hot mess, so she doesn’t count. But, I will be seeing this movie once it hits theatres next Friday. You can watch the trailer here.
