Beauty: Less Drama For Spring!

As spring draws near, it’s time to bid adieu to heavy concealer, over-worked eye lids, and even heavier foundation for a more natural and effortless, yet always gorgeous look. There’s no need to dash to your nearest M•A•C store to purchase the latest products, though I never discourage anyone from buying more face-paint. The tools you’ll need are most likely in your make-up bag.

Beauty Trend: Pretty Pink Pouts

Pretty? — More like poppin’. Plenty of beauty buffs and even lip gloss lovers are hopping on this new bright pink lip-color trend. Like many beauty trends, this look is not for everyone. But, if paired well with the right makeup, ensemble, etc, I definitely believe that just about anyone could have this trend work well in their favor.

Fall 2009 Beauty:: Plum Lips

When it comes to lip color, this season’s hottest beauty trend has to be plum lips. Just like a lot of things, it’s not for everyone, but you do have to admit — it does look good! It gives a very dark look, without being too gothic or sinister. Jason Wu’s runway this fall featured gorgeous models sporting the popular lip color as they strutted down the runways, but out of all the beauties above, Miss Rihanna Fenty was the first to rock the berry-like lip color, last summer at the 2008 BET Awards.

F101 Beauty Picks:: Winter Nail-Color Trends!

I don’t know about the rest of the world, but it’s more than cold in New York City right now. It’s actually freezing! I can’t find my favorite black scarf, so I’m pretty much on the verge of catching a cold, but that’s not the worst part. I went to one of my fave stores today and planned on buying a few scarves, gloves, and hats — which is my new thing. I just got my hair done, and it would look super-cute with a knitted beret! Anywho, instead of buying those things, I bought like 6 new tops! LOL. It’s a bitter-sweet feeling, because they look gorgeous, but I still haven’t bought my “winter necessities”. I did, however, buy two pairs of gloves. A black one, and a beige one.

I haven’t had my nails done in about a month, and they look a mess. I want an amazing color to put on them, and I know some of my readers have been waiting for this post, so here it is —> Shantee’s Winter Nail Trends, featuring some of your fave celeb fashionistas!
