I must say, this year’s MTV VMAs were wonderful! Pretty much everyone’s performance was on point, from Janet Jackson’s opening tribute to her brother, the late Michael Jackson, Jay-Z & Alicia Keys, Green Day, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Pink, and more. My Twitter & Facebook were pretty busy, but on to the fashion!…

Cassie Ventura, the baddest chick on the red carpet tonight, looked super funky, yet super sweet in her satin deep v-neck dress. I love how she accessorized it with the colorful clutch and heels. I don’t think it’s over-the-top at all. I think it’s just right. This ensemble is perfect for the VMAs — short, cute, and shimmery (check her wrists). I’m also proud of her for not wearing any neck jewelry with this look, which some do, when they shouldn’t! Love her hair as well.

Love love love Cassie here, in this printed satin dress, which features a plunging neckline. She added a yellow clutch, and printed blue open-toe booties. She looked fab, and I also love how her hair is styled — it’s definitely softens the edgy shaved ‘do. Love Cassie.

I def agree that Cassie was the perfect choice for this new collection.

DimePiece and Cassie have released a special line of tanks and tees coinciding with the drop of Cassie’s new single, Let’s Get Crazy (ft. Akon). A few weeks back, behind-the-scenes pics from an unknown photoshoot featuring Cassie emerged on the ‘net. So today, Diddy finally posted these new images of the finished product. Cassie is the face of DimePiece’s fall/winter 2009 collection! The smokey-eyed songbird looked super fierce in ensembles styled by the brand’s duo, Laura and Ashley.

DimePiece Designs and music artist Cassie have collaborated for Fall and Winter 2009 to bring you Nine Lives, DimePiece’s latest collection. Playing off their brand’s motto, kitten in claws, DimePiece describes Nine Lives as another installment to their ever-evolving and unceasing line based around female empowerment and an ode to change.
