Celebs @ Z100's Jingle Ball 2008

Z100, one of the most popular Top 40 stations in the country hosted its annual Jingle Ball concert at Madison Square Garden on Friday night. The holiday-themed music extravaganza featured some of today’s hottest pop acts like Katy-Perry, Ne-Yo, Lady GaGa, Kanye West, Leona Lewis, Jesse McCartney, Brandy, Chris Brown and Rihanna.

And, speaking of Chris & Ri — the young couple got SUPER-CLOSE during their on-stage performance. They are too cute!

Yup. It’s that time of year again! The AMAs won’t air until tomorrow night (Sunday), on ABC, but performers at the show have been rehearsing the past few days. Stars like Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, Ne-Yo, Beyonce, Pussycat Dolls, Pink, and more are slated to perform at the award show. Christina will be the opening act, so lets hope she kills her performance. As a matter of fact, lets hope that everyone will do great! I’m excited to see who will wear what on the red carpet — don’t forget to check back tomorrow for that!

According to media sources over in New Zealand, Rihanna and Chris Brown gave their “sold out” audience a show-stopping performance! Clad in her usual leather dominatrix outfits, and Chris in his armored vest, they performed hits like “Umbrella”, “Wall to Wall”, “Gimme That”, “Disturbia”, and her most current hit “Rehab”. [And no. That's not her skin showing. It's a nude-colored bodysuit.]

Of Chris Brown:

First to take the stage was Brown, who descended from the rafters singing his hit Wall to Wall, to ear-piercing screams from the largely female audience.

“Where are my single ladies at?” he queried following a rendition of Gimme That, before asking the screaming girls to yell out their phone numbers so he could call them.

Brown’s dance moves are some of the slickest Vector’s stage has seen since Justin Timberlake played there last year.

Of Rihanna:

Starting her set from a platform high above the stage, she wowed the crowd with a rendition of Disturbia. As the platform sank lower, her outfit - a dominatrix-style print leotard with thigh-high boots - caught the attention more than her singing.

Rihanna’s half of the concert relied more on multimedia theatrics than Brown’s had, but her voice also came across more strongly - perhaps because she was relying less on dance moves to impress the crowd.

But the crowning moment was when Brown and Rihanna took to the stage together for a performance of the latter’s 2007 smash hit Umbrella.

Chris Breezy finally debuted his new video for ‘Superhuman’, the second single off his rerelease album, ‘Exclusive’. Keri Hilson played Chris‘ love interest in the video, and I can’t help but love her. I wouldn’t call her style amazing, but I do love it. It’s like edgy-chic. She’s always wearing jazzy, colorful or metallic stuff, mixed with dark colors, and a fab set of heels. Her jewelry is always “poppin”. Very bold and flashy, yet subtle enough to still keep that feminine look about it.

The song didn’t really get me at first, but [doesn't this always happen] once I saw the video, I can’t help but to love it. It was so sweet. But who’s rolls up on a vehicle, then walks up the block singing and rescuing strangers from speeding cars? LOL.

Cute couple, Chris Brown & Rihanna, were spotted shopping, yesterday in L.A. Always the gentleman, Chris held all the bags and Ri’s dog while the couple made there way down Melrose.

* Fashion Bit: Ri rocked a black ‘Plume Feather Vest’ from the Elizabeth James collection and black patent leather Christian Louboutin pumps.

Jay & Bey spent their four-month anniversary together, hanging out in NYC on Monday. The couple looked super happy while Jay gave Bey the “this is MY girl” arm hook! How cute!

* Fashion Bit: Bey rocked her Dolce & Gabbana patchwork bag, red Ray-Ban shades, red patent leather pumps, and her wedding ring!
