Wearing a cut-out Gucci dress, Rihanna looks fierce on the cover of W Magazine’s February 2010 issue. In the interview, Rihanna sheds light on “who she really is” and how important it is for her to never go back to that place (early 2009). Besides all that, I loved her editorial shots. My fave is the one of her in the black silk and nylon organza Prada dress and LaCrasia gloves. The Dior black python and silk coat is my second fave.

In celebration of Dior Beauty’s 10th Anniversary for J’Adore, Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha, among others, attended the Wednesday evening event which took place at The Standard Hotel in New York City. Coco wore a lovely red and black floral strapless Christian Dior dress, with black Christian Louboutin heels, a vintage clutch, and makeup by Ricky Wilson for Dior Beauty. She looks great! I love love love her new dark locks.

The shoes on fall ‘09 runways were mind-blowing. Heels were sky-high (Galliano, Dior) and bottoms were metal-plated (Manolo Blahnik at Brian Reyes). Boots went on for miles, like Rodarte’s leather-wrapped pairs. And some shoes, like Nina Ricci’s, were just so fantastic, looked more at home on circus stilt-walkers than models. So we had to find out if real women could actually walk in these shoes. The ladies of the Cut (and a few good-natured volunteers around the office) bravely laced, zipped, and strapped in for a little stroll. Find out if anyone fell…

christian dior 'galiano' - models by you.

Christian Dior designer, John Galliano, is by far one of my fave designers of all time. His aesthetics are out of this millenium, and his fashion shows are always haute. Just like his last show, the pieces, especially the shoes, are all ways to die for. You never see any other like his, which I think is so amazing. It’s like he has a cheat sheet, or the play book!
