TOPSHOP NYC Collection Preview!

Most NY fashionistas have had their calendars marked since last year, hoping for the day when TOPSHOP, an originally UK-based retailer, will open its SOHO, NYC doors to the public. The 40,000-square-foot flagship store was originally set to open this fall, but has been postponed until March 2009 because of construction delays at the store. So, to keep our hopes alive, the owner of the British fast-fashion retailer arrived in New York this week with sneak preview layouts of the upcoming line that will be available at the store’s Spring ‘09 launch. Each piece is of a different style from the other, and all very cute!

Sneak Peek: Elizabeth + James Fall Preview

‘Elizabeth + James’ is the affordable line of twin celeb-icons, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The clothing line already has a few celeb fans, two of which sported some of the line’s Spring pieces last week [Nicole Richie; Lauren Conrad]. Nylon magazine’s ’sneak peak on what to expect for fall’ included plaid skirts, bright colors like electric pink, flannel and more. You can’t help but think Gossip Girl. Nylon[magazine] rightfully calls it “trust fund babe goes to a rock concert”.
