Best of 2008: Mom of the Year

For ‘best 2008 mommy’, I think Jada is a perfect choice. She has had a lot on her plate. This year, Will, Jada, and their two youngest children, Jaden and Willow, each held starring roles in different films. But, not only did Jada have to make it to several movie premieres — she had to attend their oldest son, Trey’s high school football games!
As such a supporting mom and wife, it’s a miracle as to how she manages to stay so fit, elegant, and classy. She’s also half of one of Hollywood’s highest earning couples, so its expected when we see her in styles from designers like YSL, Zac Posen, and Christian Dior.
How does Jada, juggling a husband, two kids and career, find time for herself?
“I make sure I get jobs so that I can go away and have promotional tours and have an excuse to be alone. I love my daughter to death, but I joke that it’s just messing up my whole flow.”

Alicia just released the video for her latest single ‘Superwoman’, off her 4 times platinum album ‘As I Am’. The video expresses her feelings to women all over — we are all Superwomen. No matter how hard times get and may seem, we have to hold our heads up, and be strong for ourselves and one another!
Jada Pinkett-Smith co-directed and also makes an appearance in this video, playing the hard-working entrepreneur/mother/actress/SUPERWOMAN.

YSL [Yves Saint Laurent] Tribute Heels
According to the New York Post, the “must have” shoe is the towering Yves Saint Laurent pump “Tribute.”
How high does it go? Five and a half inches. Ouch. (The front of the shoe does have a 1.5″ platform, though.)
This hooker-esque shoe is now being donned by many a Hollywood diva, and, as a result, is sold out in retail locations all over the place. (In London, there was a waiting list of 200 as of late April.) In fact, Tribute has proven to be so popular that many other YSL shoes (like Vichy, La Perle, Vera and Naked Kiss) now also come in a 5 1/2-inch option.
