As she rings in the new year with style, Kate Hudson covers this month’s issue of InStyle Magazine, wearing a gorgeous jeweled tank by Etro, and Stephen Dweck bangles. Inside the mag, she talked about a few of her favorite things:

Her Son

“My son, Ryder, is such a special kid, and five is fantastic age. Joy literally exudes from that boy’s soul,” says Hudson. “My whole schedule revolves around the time he’s home before and after school; then from 9-3, I am running around L.A. doing a million things.”

Jewelry

“If I’m not feeling good, I load on lots of jewelry,” says Hudson, who sometimes borrows pieces from her mom, Goldie Hawn. “It gives me energy and makes me feel kind of happy.”

Jennifer Aniston Covers GQ - Uncovered

A sexy, 39-yr old actress by the name of Jennifer Aniston is featured on GQ’s January ‘09 issue, wearing nothing except for a striped Brooks Brothers tie. Jenn’s full inside spread consisted of a few semi-nude shots and the rest in strictly menswear attire. In her interview, she addressed rumors of her relationship with John Mayer, as well as shedding some light on how she really feels about Angelina Jolie.

On John Mayer:

“I am not having his baby. And I have not popped the question.”

“Honestly, I did not know much about him before I met him. I’d heard … you know, uh ‘Your Body’ – that song. But what I can say is that I had no idea what an extraordinary musician he is. And it’s just great to sit and be witness to that. It’s kind of like, Whoa!”

Beyoncé/Sasha Fierce for GIANT Magazine

Sasha Fierce has done it again! Though I’ve stressed how much I’m not buying this whole “Sasha Fierce” gimmick, I must give credit where it’s due. Beyoncé Knowles is indeed a natural beauty. Throw on some heavy black eyeliner, nude lip gloss, and a custom-made titanium Lorraine Schwartz mechanical glove and Sasha will let you have it! I posted an article a couple of days ago, when GIANT magazine’s latest issue featuring Beyoncé hit newsstands. If you thought the cover photo was hott — you haven’t seen a thing yet!

* Ah. I will also admit that this photo spread is by far Sasha Fierce’s best! GO TEAM BEYONCÉ!

Beyonce’s upcoming album ‘I Am…Sasha Fierce’ is set to hit stores on Tuesday, November 18th. If you haven’t already figured out what the term “B-Fever Season” means, then it’s obvious you haven’t caught it yet. Regardless if you’re a B-Hater or a B-Lover, you’ll eventually get stung! Pop queen, Beyonce, has been heavily promoting her latest projects, so it’s not surprising that she’s been featured on nearly every magazine cover this season. She even hit up the Oprah set a couple of days ago, and I loved their little pow-wow chat. It was so cute! I love seeing the “I can kick it with her” Bey.

When it rains Beyoncé, it pours! If you’ve had enough of the multi-personality singer, then I’d say you’re gonna have to suck it up! Bey’s already at the top, but as a self-titled “legend”, then why would she stop now? I do have to say that I love the new fashionable Beyoncé. Yeah, she was already one of the best-dressed entertainers in Hollywood, but now she’s going international. Wearing pieces from designers like Dior, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Donna Karan, and Lorraine Schwatrz — I’d dub this a very good look.

On the eve of the release of a new album and a film in which she plays her riskiest role yet, Beyoncé talks about family, fearlessness, and why she’s the face and voice of America.

…Hurricane Ike brought far more relentless rains to Houston, destroying the neighborhood where Beyoncé Knowles grew up. Oddly, her favorite memory is tied to a similar meteorological disaster almost 20 years ago. “I never told anyone this story, but we lived by the bayou, and it flooded,” she explains. “My father came to pick me up from school. I thought he was so strong. And he protected me. We had to get out of the car because the water was flooding the streets. He was carrying me around and it was the most fun thing in the world. My arms were around his neck and I was laughing and it was raining, and I was like, this is great! Even though, looking back, I know he was terrified.”
