Singing sisters, Solange & Beyoncé Knowles, visited the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel this morning to promote the Samantha Thavasa & Disney Collection. Despite all the negative responses to Solange’s recent decision to “go for the cut,” I think she looks absolutely fantastic! She wore a sleeveless white tunic with chain strand details, a ruffled shimmery pink Moschino mini skirt, and a fierce pair of Moschino Cheap & Chic “two faced” shoes! Solo has worn Moschino before, but never like this. These heels, which are half ankle booties and half strappy heels, aren’t yet available anywhere on the net, but you may be able to find them at select Moschino boutiques.

My bff made a funny today. She said, “Her shoe is half Solange, half Beyoncé!” Hahahahaha! I hope I’m not the only one laughing…

This, I have said before, and this I will say again — Solange Knowles has style. She’s not afraid to take risks, and 9x out of 10, the risk was well worth it. She’s also not one to conform to society, and that’s what makes her oh-so unique and fresh.

Go team Solo!

+ Rihanna - Looking sidewalk fab in a white v-neck pullover, Current/Elliot destroyed denim, studded Balmain heels, and Balenciaga frames.
+ Piarry Oriol - Piarry is a friend of Teairra Mari’s, which is how I came to noticing her. If you’ve ever watched the E! reality series, Candy Girls, then you’d know Danielle (the boss). Okay. She’s on Danielle’s team of video models. I liked her best before I knew this extra piece of information, but who cares! She looks great above, and has some type of obvious style. Love the entire outfit. The shoes and top especially.
+ Kerry Washington - I almost missed my darling Kerry in this Louis Vuitton ensemble she wore to an event on Friday. I like it.
+ Ginnifer Goodwin - She wore this lovely Azzaro design to a recent BVLGARI event, celebrating their 125th year in business. It’s always a plus when you end up looking better in an outfit, rather than the actual model.

Fifth Avenue just got a little bit more Posh. Giorgio Armani — with the help of some very famous friends– opened his new store on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue last night. Victoria Beckham, Leonardo DiCaprio, Alicia Keys, John Mayer, Olivia Palermo, Chace Crawford, Solange Knowles, Zoe Saldana, Molly Sims, January Jones and more braved the cold to take in Armani’s new four-level, 40,000 square-foot concept store offering every Armani brand. “It’s amazing,” Beckham gushed. “I just got here, but it looks really great.” But don’t expect to see Posh at too many more Fashion Week events. “I have to leave here tomorrow and go home.” She explains, “It’s [Cruz's] birthday. He said, ‘It’s my birthday after Fashion Week’. I’m training him well.” DiCaprio slipped in towards the end of the cocktail party, but right on time for the private dinner Armani hosted for a handful of friends at the new Armani/Ristorante, the first of its kind in the United States. The night, however, was not just about fashion — the charity designer announced his donation of $1 million to the Fund for Public Schools to benefit N.Y.C. school children, which Caroline Kennedy was on hand to accept. Now that’s fashion that cares.

- Kerry Washington: Kerry is a gorgeous woman, and posesses so much style! She wore a multi-colored beaded dress with black patent pumps and a purple metallic clutch to the N.Y.C. premiere of her latest project, The People Speak.
- Isla Fisher: Though I haven’t seen her latest film, the Shopaholic star looked fab last week, as she visited the David Letterman show last week, wearing a lovely LWD by Zac Posen.
- Zoe Kravitz: Zoe sat front row at yesterday’s Erin Fetherston fashion show, with a couple of her gal pals. She posed for the cameras in a floral chiffon Erin Fetherston creation, vintage leather clutch, textured black tight, and t-strap Mary Jane heels. I also love her new banged hairstyle and hippie headband.
- Solange Knowles: As reported over the weekend, Solange has been all over NY Fashion Week. She attended a red carpet event on Wednesday, wearing a flirty ruffled strapless red mini-dress, and Valentino Satin Pearl Sandals.

Solange has been busy these past few days singing, dancing, and attending some of NY Fashion Week’s best shows. She first attended the 6th Annual Woman’s Day Red Dress Awards at the Allen Room at Lincoln Center in NYC on Wednesday night. There, she walked the red carpet with Editor in Chief of Womans Day Magazine, Jane Chesnutte, and gal pal Adrienne Bailon of The Cheetah Girls. Both singers looked fab — Solange in a flirty ruffled strapless red mini-dress, and Valentino Satin Pearl Sandals; Adrienne in a BCBG Max Azria LBD, and patent leather YSL Tribute Two Pumps.

Solo then attended yesterday evening’s BCBG show at Bryant Park in NY (wearing a draped BCBG dress, a baby blue Chanel bag, leather jacket, and purple Versace platform heels), and afterwards performed at the This Day/Arise Magazine: African Fashion Collective 2009 after party (wearing a fierce pair of pewter colored heels, and trendy fingerless Chanel leather gloves). Solo closed out her night with an invite to a front row seat at designer Nicole Miller’s Fall/Winter ‘09 fashion show, wearing Nicole Miller and showing off her amazing legs of course!
