Solo debuted the video to her second single, ‘Sandcastle Disco’, on Friday’s episode of FNMTV. I love it. It’s very colorful, and I love how the video exposes her fashionable side — the outfits are amazing!

One of my bffs, Solange Knowles, was spotted in London, on her way to do a little shopping at the Miss Selfridges store. Solo rocked a cute orange wrap dress, with her Fendi ‘Baulotto Grande Bag’, and her fave electric blue Christian Louboutin patent leather pumps. She looked cute. Might I add that her weave game is back on point? — ‘Cuz it is!

Amerie looks absolutely GORGEOUS in this shot! This new promo pic of Amerie has been circling the ‘net all day. I first saw it this morning, and fell in love with it. I think I’m gonna buy the new album now! LOL. Anyways, Amerie who was once signed to Columbia Records, is now a part of the Def Jam family – home to label-mates Karina, Rihanna, and Ne-Yo — and is said to be working on her next album.

The official album cover for Solo’s upcoming album, also hit the ‘net today. ‘Sol-Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams’ is set to drop on August 26th. I hope everyone can get over the whole “Beyonce’s little sister” thing. It’s so annoying. Accept that Solange is not trying to be Beyonce! She’s a trend-setter living in her own skin, and that’s what we need to see more of.
