Okay. How random that I’m doing a Yung Berg post. LOL. The only reason why I decided to do this post is because Yung Berg was here in New York, not too long ago, and told radio host, Angie Martinez (I love her), that he wrote this song about Solange!

“I wanna give her the business! [*laughs*] Yeah, I just like the way her swagger matured. You used to look at her one type of way, but now that she put out a new record, she has a new look, and its just like a whole new grown up mature look. I like what I see. I haven’t personally met her — I’ve seen her, but I love you Solange. MUAH!”

LOL. How cute! Solange responded (3:13) to his “ode” during her visit to a later dated Angie Martinez show. It was funny, but besides that, I actually enjoyed the video, and think the song is pretty cool. I may put it on a mix cd soon. LOL.

Beyoncé has been working hard all year — a new album, a new movie, and tons of promo performances. Next year she’s set to dominate more stages, while on her ‘Sasha Fierce’ tour. As I stated back in June, she co-stars in the upcoming movie thriller — ‘Obsessed’ — due out in late April 2009. Obsessed is basically a movie about a ‘fatal attraction’, where a new temp-worker(Ali Larter) falls for and begins to obsess over her new boss(Idris Elba). Beyoncé plays Idris’ wife.

* Of course, it’s great to see Beyoncé acting in a different movie role, that has nothing to do with being a singer, but from the looks of the trailer — her acting performance still falls flat! Idris, Ali, and even Jerry O’Connell did a great job. Go team Ali!

Vanessa + Angela in 'Daddy's Girls'

As I stated a couple of months back, I will most definitely be tuning into MTV, every Monday @ 10:30pm (starting on January 5th) to watch Vanessa & Angela’s new show — ‘Daddy’s Girls’. The fashionista duo has moved out of their parents’ Saddle River, NJ mansion, and into their very own L.A. condo. Their cousin Jessica has moved all the way from New York to stay with the sisters, and Vanessa’s best friend Alycia has become their newest neighbor.

What I love is that the show won’t be just about ‘Pastry’ sneakers. Vanessa is still pursuing acting, Angela is looking for a new “man”, Jessica is an official employee of the ‘Pastry’ brand, and Alycia wants to be a singer. It’s gonna be good!

In Rihanna’s new Gucci UNICEF e-film documentary video, the Grammy Award-winning actress discusses fashion and style, as well as what it feels like to be the new face of the top-tier brand. Teamed up with Gucci’s fashion director, Frida Giannini, Rihanna takes us from September’s Gucci fashion show, where she amped up talks of her very own fashion line, to last month’s UNICEF snowflake lighting event in NYC.

When I was younger, I was always a Vivica A. Fox fan. Not because of her fashion sense, but because of her acting ability. She’s always so natural and down-to-earth, sort of like Taraji P. Henson. Unfortunately, in the past few years, I’ve kind’a labeled Vivica as tacky, and that’s only because she started getting into all that plastic surgery stuff — new nose, breasts, cheeks — GROSS!

Bottom Line: When I began to watch this video, I didn’t know what to expect — but I LOVED it! Vivica cracked me up this entire video! She looked amazing in that Hervé Leger dress, and gave some really good pointers (except for the bubble jackets — I’m not a bubbler!).
